Refund Policy

4.1 Requesting a Refund Timing
A request for a refund must be submitted in writing (via email to info@powdermountainbc.com) within the timeframe agreed upon in your individual contract. Grounds for Refund
Cancellation of the course or training session by PowderMountainBc Significant changes to the schedule or training format, not communicated in advance, which make participation impossible and are attributable to the academy Other reasons specified in the individual contract
4.2 Processing and Refund Timeline
Review Process Each refund request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Generally, we aim to process requests within 14 business days, unless otherwise stated in your contract.
Refund Method Refunds are usually issued via the same method used for payment (when technically feasible), or by bank transfer to the account details you provide.
Administrative Fees If your contract specifies any administrative fees or cancellation charges, these may be deducted from the refund amount.
5. Refund Limitations
No Guaranteed Results While we strive to provide high-quality public speaking training, we do not guarantee specific outcomes, as results depend on individual effort and factors beyond our control. Dissatisfaction with personal progress is not an automatic basis for a refund.
Missed Sessions If you miss sessions or fail to use available training opportunities, this does not entitle you to a refund for unused services. Any option for make-up sessions or compensation must be addressed in your individual contract.
6. Cancellations or Postponements by PowderMountainBc
In rare cases, PowderMountainBc may cancel or postpone a scheduled course due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. In these cases:
Refund If a course is canceled by us, you are entitled to a full refund of any fees paid, unless otherwise specified in your contract.
Rescheduling If we offer new dates or a different format, you may accept the revised arrangement or choose to request a refund.
7. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, unless otherwise specified in the individual contract. In the event of a dispute arising under this Policy, the parties will follow the dispute resolution guidelines outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
8. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify or update this Refund & Payment Policy without prior notice, by posting a new version on our website with a revised Effective Date. By continuing to use the website after the updated Policy is published, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
