Winter boots, daypack, goggles, sunglasses, head lamp or flashlight (there's no electricity available at night), insulated water bottle (minimum 1 L) or Thermos, pocket knife, camera & film, whistle, lighter or matches, lodge slippers.  

 

Ski Tourers
457 MHz avalanche transceiver, spare batteries, avalanche shovel, probe, climbing skins, skis or snowboard (the fatter the better), boots, and poles (and snowshoes for snowboarders without split boards).

Cross Country Skiers
Track or skating skis, boots and poles, waxes.

 

 
Extra binding screws, spare bale or cable, spare basket, duct tape, wire / string, pocket knife, ski wax, skin glue, screwdriver, steel wool, waterproofing for boots.  

 
Medical tape, band-aids, tensor bandages, sunscreen, lip balm, safety pins, personal medications, blister prevention, anti inflammatory, antihistamines.  

 

Topographical map (Brandywine Falls 92/J3 Scale 1:50,000), compass, analog cell phone (coverage may not be available in all areas or weather conditions).
