| Finally,
choose whether you would like a Ski-In / Ski-Out package (best value)
or an All-Inclusive package (full service):
OPTION
1: SKI-IN / SKI-OUT
It is a 12.5km
or a 13.5km ski to Callaghan Lodge from the base, depending on which
access trail you take. The Callaghan Mainline trail (13.5km) is
an intermediate level ski and Wild Spirit trail (12.5km) is more
advanced. The elevation gain from the base to the lodge is 560m
(1,850').
The average
time to ski in is 3 hours and the average time to ski out is 1.5
hours (it's almost all downhill on the way out!) Believe it or not,
strong athetic types have been known to ski up in just over 1 hour
and out in 30 minutes!!
No matter
which trail you take, skiing to Callaghan Lodge is a lot of fun.
Pack a lunch, bring your camera and make a day of it! Enjoy spectacular
views, stunning old-growth forest, frozen lakes...and the satisfaction
of knowing that you did it!!
